Sales Admin (part-time role)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Sales Administrator to support our Business Development team. This is fixed-term, part-time role, initially for four hours each day (with start and finish times open to agreement). The role would suit someone in an admin role looking to move into technical sales – though we will be happy to consider other backgrounds.
You will support the sale of our innovative pumps into the next generation of medical, life science, and environmental applications. Become part of a well-backed, rapidly growing company created to commercialise Disc Pump, a revolutionary, award-winning micropump technology.
We’re looking for a Sales Administrator who is enthusiastic and well-organised. You will possess strong IT skills, be comfortable communicating directly with customers, and have the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment as our business grows.
You will support our Business Development team by:
- Entering and updating customer information within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Generating quotes and processing customer orders, providing accurate lead times and ensuring that customer expectations are met
- Testing, packing and shipping evaluation systems to new customers, working closely with the wider team to ensure that deliveries are made on time
- Building good working relationships with customers’ purchasing and accounts teams
- Carrying out general office administration work
You will support smaller customer accounts directly, providing information and answering customers’ basic technical queries with the support of the team around you. This role has the potential to become a permanent position and offers the opportunity for growth and development into an office-based Sales Executive position as our business expands.
Desirable Skills and Experience
You will be self-motivated and well-organised, with an enthusiastic and hands-on mentality and strong IT, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will be interested in technology and able to learn the basics of pump operation. Ideally you will have sales experience and/or a desire to develop into a customer-facing sales role.
You will have:
- Fluency with common office software, with experience of accounts, ERP, and / or CRM software an advantage
- The interest and ability to understand the basics of pump operation
- General office administration experience
Customer-facing and/or sales support experience will be an advantage.
You will receive a competitive salary supplemented by a Group-wide annual profit share scheme and the option to join a generous share incentive plan.
Health and lifestyle package
You’ll benefit from a generous pension scheme, private healthcare and life assurance. You will be based on TTP Group’s Science Park located in attractive countryside just outside of Cambridge with canteen and sports facilities onsite.
We are open to speculative applications. If you think that you have the skillset to contribute to this exciting new business please send your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
