What’s small, silent, and enables life-changing innovation? At TTP Ventus, it’s our micropump. Launched in 2018, it’s already made its way into a wide range of medical and life science products - and we have hundreds of further customers evaluating our technology for new products. As a result, our order book is escalating fast – so we’re scaling up our production capabilities at a rapid pace. That’s where you fit in.
Join our close-knit team and you’ll take a hands-on but leading role in scaling up our manufacturing throughput. It’ll mean that our micropumps can enable even more cutting-edge innovation across the medical, life science, environmental and industrial sectors. They’re already in an extraordinary range of inventions - such as a breathalyser that’ll test for cancer, a novel treatment for sleep apnoea, and a hospital-grade vital signs monitor. The potential for our technology is huge. So, your work will make a genuine and meaningful impact.
You’ll be entrusted to manage and develop our production capability. The goal is to build a team supported by efficient systems and processes as we escalate our production capability. This will accelerate our journey towards international business growth.
You will use automated, precision assembly equipment, and production processes. These will include laser machining and laser welding to enhance our processes – which generally run on bespoke, PLC-controlled manufacturing stations.
As part of TTP Ventus’ management team, this role is an opportunity to contribute to the expansion and success of a high-value manufacturing business. You’ll get to plan and implement a new production strategy, develop the production facility and processes, and grow the team.
You’ll also get to manage day-to-day production operations, including build scheduling, stock management, purchasing, and goods consignment. Fluency in the use and development of ERP systems will be important here. With the support of the team, there’ll be times when we all help to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time.
The Engineering team will also appreciate your input as they maintain and develop the production equipment. And they’ll be regular inactions with the Quality Manager to ensure that quality is at the core of all production operations.
If you’re fluent in the operation of ERP systems, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and document management systems, it’s likely you’ll be shortlisted for an interview.
To succeed in the role, you’ll need to be degree educated (or equivalent) and have a solid understanding of managing precision, and automated production within ISO9001 or similar environments.
Attitude matters at TTP Ventus. Your demonstrable enthusiasm for process improvement, keen eye for detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction will give your application the edge.
