Tom Edwards, Vice President of Engineering, LEX Diagnostics

Tom Edwards has 14 years' experience as a systems engineer in a variety of roles, from concept developer to Director, creating Point-of-Care systems for Enigma, Atlas Genetics/binx, Erba Molecular and now LEX Diagnostics. Whilst many such diagnostics companies are formed around innovative new intellectual property, it is often the wider system engineering and integration that dictates system repeatability/reliability, and can prove both time-consuming and challenging. This is a problem that Tom has engaged with through each of these developments.
