When WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus admonished nations to “test, test, test”, back in March of this year, testing became a key strategy in the fight against this terrible disease. Therefore, to answer this call for such widespread and accurate testing the diagnostics industry has been racing forward developing new and innovative test platforms, that can quickly and precisely carry out the wide scale testing that is needed. At the heart of many of these devices however is a complex disposable microfluidic chip that needs to have the sample and reagents moved quickly, accurately and precisely to deliver a 100% reliable result and the much needed short Sample Turn Around Time (STAT) and this is where the TTP Ventus Disc Pump; with it unique set of features, comes in.
